On January 22, 2026, PCFJ joined the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission (PHRC) and Governor’s Advisory Commission on LGBTQ Affairs (LGBTQ Commission) in hosting a statewide webinar, Navigating the Current Landscape for LGBTQIA+ Pennsylvanians.
The event, which drew over 300 registrants across the Commonwealth, addressed LGBTQIA+-specific developments at both the state and federal levels, summarized legal protections available to LGBTQIA+ Pennsylvanians, and provided a roadmap on how to build an effective mutual aid network. It was moderated by PCFJ Staff Attorney, Brendan Bertig, Esq., and featured an expert panel consisting of Ashleigh Strange (Executive Director, LGBTQ Commission), Corinne Goodwin (Executive Director, Eastern PA Trans Equity Project), Alana Burman (Director, PHRC Policy, Intergovernmental Affairs, and Mediation), and Rachel Levy, Esq. (Associate, Jerner Law Group).
